Default 2nd guessing my Cam Choice....help appreciated!!

Hi, I bought a accumalation of parts & ended up putting together a 3.622"x4.130" engine with Total Engine Airflow Ported LS3 Heads with 11.8 compression. I have a LG Motorsports G6x3 Cam that is currently in there. This will be installed in a C5Z06 with headers & 4.10 gears. My 2 Questions are, Is this cam(mid 230's/mid 240's duration) going to be to hard to live with on the street? Or, would I be much better backing off a little on the duration? And, my 2nd question is, do I go ahead & install the L92 Fast intake I have?(I also have a stock LS3 Intake) Thanks, Tim

P.S. I do have a 2 piece timing chain cover.

The cam is going to come down to your tuner. A good tuner will make that cam run just fine.

The intake seems to be a hot issue now. Some cars switching to the fast are not gaining power. Do some searches and see what happening or talk to some shops.

Are you sure you want 410's in the car? You do realize the Zo6's have a different geared trans and with stock 342's its equal to having 390's on a standard T56. If you put 410's in its going to be like having 456's. Thats ALOT of gear. Also with all the power you are going to be making you are just going roast your tires even more. 1st and 2nd will probably be completely usesless on street tires.

Thanks for all your help. I am going to stick to the G6X3, if it's too much, I'll try a little shorter duration. Thanks Again!
