Default New motor options - opinions needed

An L92 pullout with almost no miles is en route to me (thanks Frank),
Trying to get a jump start on what if any modifications I should do to it.
So far the only things I'm certain on is the I will need a different oil pan setup and a different intake.

Debating if I should put a cam in it and have the heads worked on a bit.
Any problems with the stock L92 valves that I should consider upgrading them? Changing rod bolts advisable? True it can be done without resizing?

I want to keep VVT operational if possible.

I'd like to use the 6L80E it came with but it will need converted to 2WD.

I'm not going to race it beyond a couple 1/4 miles runs to see the results
after the project is complete.

What it is going in is still up in the air, I have a Fairmont I could put it in
and am looking for a clean 3rd or 4rth gen F-body but have been coming up with expensive junkers lately, nice corvette with a blown motor would be nice too!

Have built quite a few Ford motors but this is my first Chevy project.

Goals are good mileage and good power whatever I put it in.

Any thought pro or con are welcome!

Thanks

Matt
