Default Cam Spec Suggestions

Hey everyone I am looking for cam spec suggestions for my new street build.
I am looking to hit the 500+ rwhp mark while keeping good street manors.
Here is the spec of the motor

-aluminum block 408 set for 11.6:1 compression
-317 Heads porter/polished with 2.05/1.60 valves
-LS6 Intake with porter/polished Throttle body and 42 lb injectors
-I am running a built 6-speed

let me know what you guys think

Brian

with small cams making obscene power these days...

have you checked out thunders stroker cam in the dyno section? for an off the shelf cam its a killer and would probably put out some monster torque with your setup.

it may be a bit big for you but your 408 would soak up the cam a lot better than the 383 it was in.

if you want a perfectly tailored cam, talk to patg or call one of the vendors and they will get you squared away.

G5X2 232/240 .595/.608 112 or 114 lsa

G5X3 2xx/2xx .600/.610 112 or 114 lsa

Futral Motorsports F-14 Cam 232/234 .598/.598 114 LSA

these may all be "off -the-shelf cams" , but i would like to think that they all would work nice in a strocker motor.

i don't know why LG Motorsports didn't print the duration for the G5X3 cam ,but i would like to think they would tell you if you give them a call .
