LS3 cam swap- stay with single bolt or convert to 3 bolt?
I'm trying to figure out what most LS3 guys are doing when installing a cam. Are most people staying with the single bolt core or going to the 3 bolt?
About to order a cam for my LS3 2010 camaro. I've read that it's good to upgrade to double timing chain b/c the ls3's is weak... And if you're gunna do that you might as well convert to 3 bolt.
I would rather just stick with single bolt just for the simplicity and less labor but if there are big advantages to the 3 bolt I will convert.
Please advise, thanks.

Comp has been back ordered on single bolt cam cores for over a month. Not sure if they have any now, but they have 3 bolt cam cores in abundance. Depends on how long you're willing to wait. For what it's worth, Cloyes makes some nice adjustable timing sets with a kickass IWIS chain (like the C5R chain) in both single bolt and 3 bolt arrangements. That's what I'd recommend for a late model LS3.

Well I'm considering either TSP's .231/.236 cam or Mast Motorsport's "II" cam. Both have said they have single bolt in stock so not worried bout a wait.
I'm kind of on somewhat of a budget so I'm trying to get to 470rwhp-ish, 430rwtq-ish not necessarily the cheapest route, but without overspending.
So I guess what I meant to ask is, will it be perfectly fine going back with a single bolt and leave the stock TC alone even with a pretty aggressive cam?
