Thats tight on the mains for an iron block for sure. I personally would increase it to .0024-.0028. Many builders would run a little looser on the rods as well for your application.

Thats what my last motor was at and oil pressure was great and lived along time.He basically has it all assembled so im going to have to see if it works gulp at the .0018 is not the norm to go this tight?Im worried in not having any oil wedge inbetween the bearing mains and rods.I am going to run a thinner weight oil then the 20-50 i used before.10-30 will be used in this motor.

Yea .0018" is more in the aluminum block range on the mains. Shoot for .0025" on both rod/main give a take a few. Split a set of bearings if need be.
