Default question about l92

i have an l92 i plan on building and installing into an fbody....i already know what oil pan and timing cover and timing gear set to use...now my question is about cams, since the info for swapping an ls3 or l92 in an fbody is vague........would the cam from an 02 to 04 ls6 work?

It will work, but ls3 style heads favor much different cam specs. They seem to like a 10-12* split in duration favoring the exhaust, along with wider LSA. Search and check the sponsors
