Default do i need to balance my engine.

okay, building a ls2 getting bored, and im going all forged internals, does the rotating assembly need to be balanced sense the rods and pistons wont be factory .

always a good idea. We have had motors come in with no matching parts and no holes in the bobweights. On balance it was 24times acceptable weight. Customer says it never shook, Bearings were in terrible shape with low mileage. So will it work? probably. Is it worth an extra $225 to make a good motor. YES.
