Default Oem Rec Port flow #s

Just wondering what you all have seen on actual flow #s that have been achieved. From porting the old oem. cast iron rectangle port heads. Trying to figure out what the max is everyone has seen. Was told there was a head porter that achieved 460 cfm on them but thought that was just a bit high.

No cast iron rectangle port heads on gen 4 engines. Are you talking about BBC heads?

No prob. Even in the small/big block section of this forum, answers will be few and far in between. Try a big/small Chevy specific site. I'm sure you will get better answers there.

There were many different castings & flow variances over the years.
