Default Heads and Cam for LS2

I have an ls2 going in my car
i have a ls3 intake that i want to use so i was wanting to run ls3 or l92 heads or something that will work with the ls3 intake

I believe i will be running NA for the next few years but will be planning to boost a bit after funds recirculate (and i can build the suspension)

so i was considering the SC2 cam from Speed Inc with l92 heads

but any suggestions as to what i should run?
being the unique set up i havent seen many ls2 with ls3 top ends (like 3 or 4)

Research on corvetteforum & the gto forums. Ive see alot of LS2 guys swap to a LS3 topend on those sites. Expect roughly 450/420 if you choose a cam that works well with LS3 heads. Check out Spinmonster & his 230/234 114 cam.

My LS2 GTO has had L92 heads and the L76 (LS3) intake on since '07. I'm running a custom cam spec'd by Ed at FTI to match the heads. He also did a little p&p on the heads. If you want to maintain close to stock CR the heads will have to be milled .030...if you plan on boost later you might want to skip this. You'll have to watch PTV clearance depending on how big a cam you want to run...might have to flycut the pistons. There's a huge thread on LS1GTO.com pertaining to the L92/LS3 top end swap.
