Default lq9 243s hp?

grabbed a lq9 from a salvage yard with 62k on the engine. and grabbed 243 heads will i was there. what hp numbers should i be looking at with this combo through a 4l60 and 4k stall and built 10 bolt. havent decided on cam & porting and milling heads yet.

Until you can figure out your cam and milling situation there is no way to say.

You can make anywhere from 300rwhp to 450rwhp.

lq9 with 243s will net you same as ls2...10.9:1. keep in mind stall will affect overall hp number readings so focus more on how fast you want to go and what kind of driveability and perhaps mileage youre after. if a street strip, my cam choice would be a 228-232 with a 3600 stall. if strip street weekend warrior, i would step up to more like a 232-238 cam with a 3800-4000 stall. porting heads always best if affordable. intake and header choice will make a difference too. too many factors to consider but 400-460 is easily doable.

care to share rough cam specs? mine made 460/390 but it appears i need to change my cam out so i'm in the market
