lt1 cam insall wont start

Default lt1 cam insall wont start

I install a cc 306 and rocker in my 93 z28 now my car wont start unless I pump the pedal and then it stalls out when I let off the pedal. I need help?

It sounds like the left bank mouse has a loose tennis shoe. Id upgrade to Velcro and throw the shoe strings away. Mice aren't very bright, but can usually self diagnose and correct with Velcro. That or the cam was machined from a soft wood and the granite rockers are making sawdust that is getting in the rodents nose and causing a stall.

Maybe what is being suggested here is: shoe strings on to tight = rockers to tight. If rockers were to lose= lots of ticking.

Check your valve lash. Sometimes the roller lifters bleed of way to fast and on does not get a good adjustment.
