Default Pistons for spray??

I am looking to forge my motor and im wanting to know if there are any weaknesses with running dome pistons with spray. my motor set up will be just a forged ls2 14.1:1 compression on e85 with alot of spray.

Here are this pistons that i am looking at getting, I will be taking the heads down to 64cc also to get my desired compression.

My advice....Dont be a tight *** and stroke the thing while you have it apart.

It must be a mistake with your link because it's for 20cc dish pistons!

What kind of heads are you running? You have to make sure your dome pistons are compatible. Adding a stroker crank would probably be one of the easiest ways to bump up the compression. Make it a 402 with milled heads and flat-tops or a small dome.

No its not a mistake, I am just completely confused on what I need. These pistonts say +20.00 cc dish so will these add compression?

I am going to be running ported and milled ls3 heads.

No, those pistons are +20cc DISH. That means they REMOVE 20cc from the combustion chambers. More for a forced induction engine combo.

For naturally aspirated you can get the compression you're looking for by getting a stroker crank of 4" looking for some flat top pistons and THEN millling your heads.

14:1 is alot! but this should put you close, and @ 402" will give you ALOT more torque!

What's a lot of spray? If you plan on spraying more than 250 make sure the piston is made out of 2618 vs. 4032
