Default N/A Performance with a turbo cam

So Ive decided to go ahead and yank the motor on the GTO and put pistons/rods in it while I replace the lifters/cam/valvesprings due to a lifter failure. My question is, I plan on going to a single turbo setup next year, and am thinking about going with Tick's Stage II turbo cam. Would this cam perform decently N/A until I build the turbo setup? I really dont want to swap another cam once the motors back in the car. Thanks!

Cant be too bad, BUT you have to make sure you are set on what size turbo you will be going with and that it meets your boost build specs before doing soo. I would stick with a stock cam till next year and buy the cam then. Is yout car a M6 or A4?

M6, I really thought about going TH400 but I just cant do it. My goal isnt a 1/8 / 1/4 mile car, my goal is a quick, fun to drive car. Id prefer not to be at 3000+ rpm at 70mph when I decide to cruise a couple hundred miles

Those durations would be fine NA, it just won't make as good low end power being on a 115 lsa because of the later IVC and top end it doesn't have the overlap nor split to carry power out efficiently.
