Default LS3 help

Okay guys here is my situation, I recently pulled my stout LT1 from my 95 TA and decided to go with a LS3 since I got a good deal here in the forum, my issue at hand is it came with a x24 reluctor wheel because this LS3 was in another F-body before. Now as for sticking a LS into a LT thats no problem..the problem I don't know about is this x24 reluctor instead of the x58.

By using the x24 reluctor do I convert the the cam to a 3 pin LS1 as opposed to a 1 pin LS3? it has the foward cover with the cam sensor in place. I do not know if there is any differance with the cam sensors or not. I simply dont want to order the wrong kind of cam and be out 400 bucks or so.

Thoughts, ideas or suggestions please let me know

BTW here is the setup so far.
TEA Ported Stage 1 LS3 heads
Cam will be 231/242 617/615 112+3
Peak Shop Ported 102 FAST intake
102mm NW TB
Stock internals (with x24 reluctor)
Kooks 1.75x1.78x3 Headers
Mufflex 4in exhaust

Mated to upgraded T-56

I have everything but the cam so this is my delima

If your cam sensor is in the front, it doesn't matter what cam u get. You just need the right 1x timing gear

Have you pulled the timing cover off? I'm just thinking, if the previous owner went through the work of replacing the reluctor, he likely already swapped a 1x cam gear on there as well. Either way, your cam choice as already stated would be irrelevant since you're using the front cover timing pickup, just don't forget a cam sensor extension harness!
