Post clearance and compression

Didn't really know where to post for this but ill ask. Ive got a stock lq4 in my 99 trans am thats a m6, im about to get some 5.3 heads ive had laying around worked over to put some compression in that motor my question is what would be the biggiest cam i could run having them milled .020 vs just having them cleaned up and having a valve job done both choices id be running a stock ls2 gasket, oh and with the combo id be putting a 100 or 150 shot on it. Im just looking for the best bang for my buck. This car will really only see the street for a sunday cruise or be at the track.

mods so far are ported ls6 oil pump, ls6 intake, LT, O/R Y, slp exahust, ford 9in with 4.10 gears.
