Our Superdeck I blocks can be bored out to a 4.200 bore and our ERL Dry SLeeve blocks can be cored out to a 4.185.
If tuned properly you should be ok with a 200 shot on each of those. How much needs to be honed out on the 434 ci?

Needs to go to a 4.160 or 4.165. Figured might as well figure out best deal I can do and still get more cubes and still spray 200. Cylinder 6 and 8 were slightly out of round. So gotta be fixed. So what cubic inch 4.200 amd 4.185?

I know a 4.185" is a 454ci when combined with a 4.125" stroke...and I think the 4.200" bore with a 4.125" stroke gives you about 457ci, but that is just a rough calculation....

That makes it a 443ci with the 4.2" bore, and a 440ci with the 4.185" bore

No need what so ever to take it to the max bore for a few cubes. That leaves no rebuilds left on it and basically worthless if you part the engine out down the road. Take out enough to get the cylinder where you want it and no more.

Its a ls2 block erl sleeved. And were prolly going with a 4.165 bore. So theres room later. Just womder if 13.1 compression wouod give it that much more cylinder pressure with the 200 shot than the 12.6

I'm going to assume a dry sleeve block. With that bore 13:1 and a 200 shot should be fine.

36* is ball park Gen1 stuff. Most LS stuff is in the high teens / low 20's iirc... You're better off asking your tuner, and letting him just work his magic.

There's way more to timing than just static compression ratio...

Think I'm going with 12.5cr using 104 unleaded fuel. And 436ci. Hope see good numbers
