max hp on melling hi vol oil pump Im setup is lsx block, dragon slayer crank, Callies rods, PRC 255cc 6 bolt heads, holley intake, Tick performance hyd cam. Looking to build 1250plus rwhp. I want to use a melling hi vol pump and a 7qt pan. Will this work and is there anything special I need to do to the oiling system on the block, pump,etc, etc... Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

My setup is an LSX block, dragon slayer crank, Callies rods, PRC 255 cc 6-bolt heads, Holley intake, Tick performance hydraulic cam. I am looking to build 1,250 plus rwhp. I want to use a Melling high volume pump and a 7 quart pan.
Will this work, and is there anything special I need to do to the oiling system on the block, pump, etc. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.
