Cool crank grinding

I have a 2010 L96 crankshaft for a build, how much of a grind can it take before you are through the initial hardened surface and should just get a new crank?

Looks like it's nodular iron - unless GM changed something in the past few years, none of their cast cranks are hardened. Have your grinder pay particular attention to the filets, they're a big part of the strength of a crank.
