Default Ls7 into a 2013 crew cab silverado

I have a 6800 mile ls7 long block, that I have acquired.... Lol
I am kicking around the idea of throwing it in my truck. Would like to use all of the oil system from my 5.3, oil pan, front cover, install a lopey yet torquey cam. I know I will need the crank bolt spacer, but what else will be needed? And is this going to be more expensive than it will be worth?

Not wanting a drag truck, just something to play around with on the weekends.

Thanks
Brian

The only thing is what top end you use thats where the MOST cash will be spent .

I am curious if my oiling system will be ok. I have the ls7 intake manifold, just have to find some injectors. Gonna use ls7 heads. I have the complete engine, I typed short block. My bad.

Well the dry sump will cost a bit... You can convert it.. Give those guy a call and have them 2 email you the price for both dry-sump & wet-sump conversion. You can see the true price difference and what parts are needed to complete your build.

Brodix and RHS have the hot prices right now. I wanted a pair of unported heads 2 make for a smaller bore engine but I had the ls3 intake / rockers etc.. so I stuck with LS3 theme. I wish some1 came up with a LS3-LS7 intake adapter.

If you do that you might start to burn a little more oil as the 2mm oil ring is small and the slight vacume from the scavange section on the ls7 pump might be helping it seal better
