Default Replacing ls2 crank, balance or no?

I'm getting a low mile LS2 that had a crank pulley spin on the crank. A local machine shop will hook me up with a used GM crank and new bearings for $200.

Should this be able to just go together fine? Not sure if GM balances everything new or not.

My other option is to just use it as is, the crank is pinned now (supercharged car) and holding fine even with the blower drag so I could just pin my pulley to it and go I'm fairly certain but for the price didn't think it sounded like a bad deal to put a new crank and mains in.

Thoughts?

I would balance it but I tend to be conservative and NOW is the time to do it.

You can use yours just have a machine shop make a keyway for the crank, even better to double keyways, one on each side do same on the pulley, though this best done by pulley manufacturer for warrantee purposes, if you plan to crank up some 1k plus crank horse power.

Pin should be considered a temporary solution till you bring out the crank, at which time to be made "permanent".

The pin can make pay when you list spec it time to get rid of it.
