Build around new cam
I'm looking at a new cam (Comp Big Mother Thumpr) so I'm looking to upgrade the internals on a stock LS2. I've found a kit at Summit Racing from Comp Camps themselves that includes all the parts I said.
Would you guys recommend this kit if I wanted to build a NA street fighter engine or get the parts separately? Also this will not be a daily driven car so the rough idle of the cam won't be a problem.
Thanks

Those cams have an intimidating name but there are better cams out there for Ls2.
I suggest the FTI Streetsweeper HT, 228 232, 612 600, 111+3, rough idle, OR the FTI Shark, 232 236, 600 600, 113+4, slight chop, good idle. Which to use would would depend on stall and gears, and preferred sound and idle. Both are good street/strip, weekend warrior cams.

Car in question is a 2005 HSV GTO manual.
Engine has never been opened other then for cam change.
At the track shift at 7,000rpm and have had the best ET's leaving it in third gear as it crosses the line at 115+ mph.
