Ms4 cam?
Okay, I dont mean to be one of those guys that ask what cam to go with. But i called texas speed earlier and the man told me to go with an ms4.
Car: 2002 z28, has 1 3/4 lts, true dual with dynomax bullets, moser 9" with 4:11s, M6.
I have a set if 243s thats going on, fully ported.
Im considering the Ms4, but another part of me wants a cam that makes more power all the way through the rpm range rather than all up top. Goal is to be close to 450whp.
Thanks alot!

If you want the smaller version of that cam and only give up maybe 5rwhp up top you can run the Tsunami camshaft. It will have more midrange than the MS4 and a little better driveability as well. Either way you're going to need some sticky tires haha.

Just be careful with your p-to-v clearance if those heads aren't from us. We setup our 243's to clear our MS4 if that is the cam that is listed on the build sheet for the heads. If they were done by someone else, be sure that they weren't milled and that they're not running larger valves. The valve job can also make a difference on p-to-v clearance, depending on how deep they sink the valves. This is also assuming that the heads were not milled. If you're not sure, give us a call and we can go over how to check valve drop with the heads sitting on a flat surface. This will tell us how much cam you can get away with while avoiding clearance issues.
Thanks!
Thanks!

They are doing just porting, not messing with the valves, or Doing any milling. I decided to Go With the Tsunami cam. I ordered the set yesterday. Thank you for all your help!
