Default reliabilty question

im building a 429 c/i motor off a ls3 block , callies 4.125 crank , compstar rods 6.125, with wiseco 4.070 flat tops . how reliable and what is highest rpm range is safe ? i know its been done before with success, but that little voice in the back of my head keeps yelling at me cause of the long stroke . cam is a tooley grind with a .623 in and a .596with a 112 +4 lsa . heads are a livernois stg3 l92 head miled a bit so my comp ratio is at 11.5/1 ratio . i also have a nitrous outlet money maker kit set up for 150/200 shot . how reliableis this and or powerful ?

Hello, as long as the pistons are designed properly for your application you should not run into any durability issues(within reason of-course, it will not be a 100,000 mile daily driver combo)
As long as the liner length, skirt design and piston fit point is calculated correctly you should not have and rocking at btdc or ring seal issues.
We would much rather see a purpose built piston for a combo like that(big stroke and N2o vs a shelf part)
We can supply you with what you need.
As far as RPM capability and HP goes that will be based off of valve train stability, intake and exhaust components, oiling system and camshaft selection its very hard to say until you get it on a dyno and start testing.

As stated above good pistons and you are good for hydraulic lifter motor. If you were going solid and reving it to the moon, then I would probably drop back to a 4" crank. You should be fine, have fun.
