ls3 vs lsx B-8 vs ly6 for procharger
Been in a big debate for a long time of what engine to use for my 65 chevelle build. I want to run a Procharger D1SC on the street running pump gas, I am guessing running it at 7 pounds of boost.
But I do not have a base engine to start with. So I wanted to get some recommendations of what you guys would suggest to start with? LS3 525 crate engine, LSX B-8, or sink the same amount of $$$ into a iron truck block?
The goals with the car are to be able to drive it every day with out problem and hopefully get around 650-700 HP at the crank.
So what do you guys think? Am I on the track with these three options? Which one will best provide good reliable power and not end up being a trailer queen but a daily driver?

LSX 376 B-15
Its' a good idea to have a little extra room to turn up the boost once you get use to the power.

Launching!
You could meet or exceed your goal with any of the three options. That said:
A) Do you care about the weight of your engine?
B) Will you decide you want to turn up the boost a lot and make 1000 hp and weight means nothing?
C) Do you want a light motor capable of making 1000 hp?
A = LS3 (I'm making 850 at the crank with this block)
B = LSX (Limitless but heavy)
C = Resleeved Aluminum Block (Better sleeves best of both worlds)
