Default Oil Leaking from Crank on a ls2 402?

I have a LS2 402 with an Eagle crank in it.It is leaking oil from the plug in the back of the crank.
My question is how do I replace the plug and why will this fix the leak? Will a stock LS1 plug work? The plug that is in there looks straight. Why is it leaking?

i had the same problem with mine... mine you could see was slightly burred though. i'd say just have a good shop put another plug in it. stock would be fine, i think it's all the same size. that's what i did. not a drip now!

Thanks for the info.I got a new plug from the dealer today.Wonder if I should put some kind of sealant around it before I install it?
