LS7 with L92 heads?
Would L92 heads fit in place of LS7 heads on a stock LS7? I know the ports, valves, valve angle and other things may be different but would they bolt right up to all LS7 parts?

Aren't LS7 heads just as cheap as these L92 will be? I heard the L92's won't flow anywhere near the LS7's, why would you want the L92's?
Or did I hear wrong about the L92 flowing in the 340-350 range?

The L92 and LS7 haeds and intake do not interchange they have to stay with there respective parts.
And the L92 heads bare are 174 bucks each from gmpartsdirect and the LS7 bare heads are over 900 each.
The L92 heads will probably bolt to the LS7 block, but they are designed for a 4.060 bore, not the 4.125 bore of the LS7.

the L92 heads bolt to the block just fine. the LS7 intake does not work on the L92 heads.. the L92 valvetrain head parts are different then the LS7 parts.
so yes, you can use L92 components on a LS7 shortblock, but no the L92 heads are not a direct replacement for LS7 heads.
