Default LS2/L92 block Strength?

Has anyone had a LS2/L92 block being able to support 1,500 HP? I have read on this site that the LS2 block can handle 1,000 HP w/o a girdle. This build is for a twin turbo kit car and I DO NOT WANT A CAST IRON BLOCK. If it comes down to it I will buy the World Products aluminum block. But at the same time if I can save some money, I will. This will be a similar build that Jeff Schwartz has completed, but with a few more upgraded parts on the motor and turbo's. http://www.schwartzperformance.com/alien.htm

Thanks for the info. In the GM Performance catolog they only rate the LS2 block to 450 HP & the L92 block to 500 HP. I know GM severely under rates their products!
