Default LS7 bock discontinued???

I heard the LS7 block was discontinued. Any validation - what is the replacement?

Don't believe everything that you hear. How can they be discontinued when they are powering the new 2008 C6 Z06s being placed into production right now?

My guess is GM just changed the part number. They are known to make minor changes and change the part number as a result.

I checked with my source and they said no. Still available for now.
