well you could probably bore it .030" over if it magnafluxed to be thick enough with a 4.125" stroke crank for 421 cubes but most just hone them for a 416 cube. if i was going with an aluminum block i'd go ahead and get the l92 block myself for even more cubes.

I will go .010 over on the engine.....what is the recipe for 416 and is this safe to use with a pro-charger? I was told there was a 402 and 404 kit but haven't seen the 416. If I do an L92 and go for 427......what am I looking at going that route in terms of stroke and rod length?

If your going to force feed it, stick with the 4" stroke 402. The long stroke and added boost won't be very friendly on the rings over time. Just add a pound or 2 of boost to make up for the lost cubes.

Agreed.

I have seen the 421 combo like stated above, but it's pretty much a nitrous race engine that just ran high 8s @ 3600+lbs race weight. The compression is 12:1 and runs on 93. It's a beast.

OK.....stay with a 402......are there off the shelf parts that would give me a .10 over bore.....trying to stay away from custom parts and the block might need to be be .10 because of a ring groove.
