Default L92 427 + nitrous = bad?

I've been told that a L92 block with a 4.1" crank is not a good choice for nitrous. That I should go with a 4" crank instead so that I don't blow the motor. Whats the real deal here?

The sleeve in a LS7 is long enough to support 4.1 (or maybe a bit more), but I don't think the 5.6 long sleeve stuff will be a reliable engine in the long run. It will be especially bad with the newer high flow cylinder heads with small combustion chambers. A 4 inch stroke LS2 or L92 will produce great power on nitrous, and will live a fairly long life.
