Holy crazy cam. Why in the hell would you do a 220/244? That makes no since. Also what grinds are you using? That is needed to figure DRC (or at least the software I use needs it)
And are you using a .030 gasket b/c the piston is in the hole 10 thous?

And without even running any number I can tell you your more then likely coming up with the correct DCR with that much compression and that cam.

I came up with 9.4 DCR with the first cam and 8.9 with the second. That's using some comp lobe charts so I'm sure I'm off on the advertised duration a bit. You need to increase the overlap/intake duration to reduce the DCR (if that's what your aiming to do). It would be nice to have the actual duration at .006 and the Intake centerline to be a little more accurate.

Well the first cam is the Katech torquer and the second is the lingenfelter gt17 or 19, I forget now. Also, I aiming to get my squish around .040. That is why i'm looking for the .030 gasket.

Katech cam is designed for LS7/92 heads with wider I:E valve/port ratios IIRC so hopefully you have those heads

I will be running the PRC LS7 head on this engine. Will I be able to run pump gas on this engine with either of these cams?
