Default Questions on timing chain interchange

I have a billet gear set for a ls1 and was wondering if I can use it on my ls2?
This is the timing chain. Thanks in advance

I tried the Katech chain on the JP Performance set rolling the gear in my hands. It didn't seat right in the teeth. I would tread cautiously here, even tough pitch is the same, you could still have issues.

Which timing set?

Its a JP performance setup. Its a billet double roller. Basically it was given to me and I'd like to use it if possible since its brand new. If not I'll have to sell but don't know what these go for.

The JP is a nice set, but the LS2 and LS1 sets are different. Make sure you have the correct set and you will be fine. I misunderstood your original post, I though you wanted to run the LS2 chain.

you can use the ls1 chain set on an ls2 due to the fact the cam sensor triggers off of the raised part on the ls2 top gear

Like Shawn said, or meant to say, is you can't use a LS1 timing set on a LS2 due to the cam timing sensor on the LS2 using a different trigger (the raised portion of the gear) than the LS1.

So no a LS1 set will not work on a LS2.
