Default LME/V-Max 418 is in and running,,,,finally! dial-up, fuggetaboutit

Finally made the time this past weekend to do the engine swap in my '03 Z06.
Got her done in 3 days with the help of my good friend Mark and the use of his immaculate shop.
Engine details:
LME LS3 with with 4" stroke K1 forged crank, K1 H-beam rods and Wiseco forged, domed pistons with valve reliefs
AFR big bore 225's, 70cc chambers, 11.75 scr (.005' milled) worked over by Pete Incaudo of V-Max motorsports. V-max ported FAST 90 and LS7 TB.
COMP custom cam from V-max: 248/254 XE-R .615"/.646" 112+2 Lobe
Other mods are in my sig. Still running on the tune from my H/C 346 and it is doing fine for break--in duty, but that's going to change very soon.
Car is running great and actually got 22+mpg on a 60 mile cruise tonight running between 65 and 85mph on some 2 lane back roads here in BFE.
Here are some pics from last weekends work and a few vid clips from Sunday night fire-up and tonight's break-in ride:

Awesome job man !! I am drooling over the shop bro. Wish I had access to a shop like that, might turn the wrench myself more often then changing the oil.

What kind of power are you expecting ??? 520+ rwhp and 500+ rwtq ??

I could see 540/515 on the high side, good luck and great work !!

That looks like a crap ton of work compared to working on an Fbody. That's a really nice combo though. I wish my computer had sound.

The good dyno was 528/518tq. The extremely stingy dyno that I show everyone was 490/476tq I may swap cams later on to a more L92 head friendly grind

Hahahaha,,,,,but it's the "good" Fram filter! NAPA store was out of their "gold" filters (Wix) when I bought it. Now I have a box of NAPA gold filters and one is going on Friday night when I do my 1st oil change at 200 miles.
I'll have some track times from Beech Bend at the Z06Vette.com Fest 2nd week of September. No plans on going to the tracks close to here until we get some cool weather in October. The DA's at Bandimere and PMI at this time of year are ridiculous. I've seen the DA at Bandimere as high as 12,000 feet, and the few times I've been there for a Wednesday night test and tune it was over 9,000!

Did my 1st oil change today at a bit over 200 miles and there was just a little "fuzz" on the magnet. So much for shitty Fram filters! Going to do a 500+ mile trip this weekend to see my kid and get to my Bud's place in Denver to do some tuning with the 42# injectors on the motor. (still running the 30's for break in) we'll get it there, just gonna take some time. Car feels VERY strong the way it is now,,,,running rich and motor still a bit tight!
I'll update this thread as things progress.

Jimbo
