Congrats Steve, and good meeting ya at Comp Cams before the cruise.
I forgot the name of the girl driving the white Trans Am (sorry!) but she snagged the "Most Legit 9 second street car" jacket, so congrats!
Bummer that Taner didn't do better, as he was out round one and I don't think he ever got a hold of the track.
I rode up with my buddy Jason Rollins with a '71 Nova who got picked, and he made it to the final four before getting wrung out by the Charger, which I heard has a 605 Hemi and weighs close to 3900 pounds! We figured we were bringing a knife to a gunfight with a bracket motor (5-year old 496 with out-of-the-box edelbrock rpm heads and a 950 carb) and a 200 shot, but he 'treed everyone he ran and we made rounds happen! Final round was a good one, plus last year's winner Hogue and a Florida Viper (both got DQ'd) staged a grudge race, which the Viper won by an 8.13 at 172 to Hogue's 8.30 at 167.
