Didn`t know where to put this so here seems ok.
I`m just back from a brilliant road trip to West France. Just shy of 1700 miles I racked up in the good Chevy without a single hitch. Not even roasting hot weather and traffic jams fazed it and I`ve never been so impressed with a car as much in my puff as this thing. Brilliant machine and an absolute pleasure to sit my skinny **** in. I`ve had much more expensive Japanese, Swedish and German cars but bang for buck this old Chevy cuts it.
Stranraer in SW Scotland to Berwick Upon Tweed in England. From there down the east coast to Hull. Ferry Hull Zeebrugge in Belgium. Zeebrugge to Calais in France. Calais to Rouen. Rouen to Le Mans and then onto Nantes then arrived at Saint Nazaire on the west coast of France. Drove up and down the coast. Its fair to say the local don`t see many Camaros as the car got a fair bit of attention.
As you can see in my dash pic. 6th gear at 80mph and she`s ticking over.

Another town on the French/Belgian border
I studied these gauges like a hawk
Camaro dwarfed by the U boat Pens in Saint Nazaire.

Outside a wee cafe. I was tempted to have a beer but the French drink drive laws are strict
Took the car back to the hotel and gave in
I let some ugly ba$tard have a seat in my car.
