Howdy from a 2nd gen owner
How's it goin ?? I'm over on nastyZ28.com. Been getting some wild ideas for a LSx build....maybe getting rid of the 454 I have in my 73 Camaro and putting in something 'newer' aka LSx in the 427-454 range, but it seems that I need to do a bunch of homework on this type of thing first. And no, not just motor mounts, wiring harnesses, etc....I'm talking nuts and bolts as far as how and why pieces work, what makes it so much better, parts specs, etc. So I'll be pretty quiet til I get some knowledge under my belt and maybe ask a few questions here and there so bear with me....closest I came to an LS1 was owning a 99 Camaro V-6 in Hugger Orange out in So Cal (some of the guys remember me).
Anyhows....wasn't too much info on the 'other' LS board out there so here I be
Cheers

My 1st 2nd gen was a 73 RS.....then ended up with a 71 coupe....then an 81 T/A....then the 73 LT. The RS was cut up and scrapped (save for a donor floor pan section, sold the roof and doors). Sold the 71. Scrapped the T/A (motor blew, kept the WS-6 parts).
Been looking at the CMC cars a bit more lately and how I'd love to get into that with my 73, but then I'd have to get into the AIX/CMC2 style cars and they're 'not stock'....so my best bet besides beating them with CUBES is to go HI-TECH on them ....lol. Or at least do that and enjoy some 'comfort' so to speak....Still thinking about what all I'd wanna do.
