LS-2 in 64 Chevelle. New to Forum. Hope this is right. In the process of planning out an 06 GTO LS-2/4L65E engine swap into my one owner 64 Malibu SS. Purcahsed rear end totalled 06 GTO an am pulling out pretty much everything. Looking for information from those who have aready made the mistakes and reinvented the wheel so I don't have to. Will keep exterior looking bone stock with the exception of tires an wheels. Would like to go 18's. Need help on tires and sizes. Intend to put a 4 wheel power disc setup on it and probably lower it around 2 inches. Jump in and let me know where all the pitfalls are and how to address them. Car now has original 283 220 hp PG in it with no power steering or brakes. It does have 10,000 miles on Woodward Ave from when I was a kid back in the 60's. When I get it done, we'll go back.

man i would go to the conversions and hybrids thread under ls1 thru ls7 performance forum, it's the third one down. u will get alot of help there. welcome to the addiction man. look forward to seeing pics of that car.
