My name is Evan and I'm from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada). I recently bought a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado regular cab, short box, 4x4. It came from the factory with a 4.3L but the guy I bought it from put in a 6.0L.
Here are the motor specs:
2004 6.0L block
-Ported and polished 6.0l aluminum heads milled 12 thou for 9.8:1 compression, good for 87 octane gas
-3 angle valve grind on stock size valves
-New GM valve seals
-LS6 ported balanced oil pump
-LS2 timing chain
-New front and rear main engine seals as well as all new gaskets and MLS head gaskets
-Comp cam 918 bee-hive valve springs with titanium retainers
-Thunder Racing TR220 camshaft, 220 intake 220 exhaust duration, .568 lift with 112LSA
-Thunder Racing chro-moly 7.400" pushrods
-LS1 lifters and rockers
-Ported and polished TB
-Bosch 30lb/hr fuel injectors
-Pacesetter ceramic coated Long-tube headers w/ 3" y-pipe
-descreened Delco 85mm MAF
-LS1 fans with e-fans wiring harness
-Tuned with HPTuners software
