Default LS1 converted Miata

So I just bought a converted Miata with an LS1/T56/8.8 that I am turning into a dedicated track car. Bought it cheap for a converted Miata, and by the time I am done with it, it should be a terror on the Texas road courses. I am a recently retired motorcycle road racer (CMRAracing.com) and needed something with a formidable p/w ratio. A 2200 lb. car with a LS1 and race suspension should get me pretty close

Good information here, so here I am. I know quite a bit about Miatas; I have a custom 300+ RWHP Turbo Miata (built 1.8L motor) I built and tuned myself. But now I have much to learn about the LS1.

My current problem is a very rich running right bank. I'm searching here and reading up on that now. Best guess is an exhaust or right bank intake leak. No ODB-II codes for a bad O2 sensor, just lots of codes related to engine swap items, like the complete lack of an emissions system
