New Owner of 1993 Z28 I've used this forum for research on potential projects for quite a while, but finally picked up a Camaro a few weeks ago.
It's a 1993 Z28 6-speed with 127K, but the old owner claimed the engine is newer. I was a little worried why it would need a new engine, but it runs great. The car is pristine for a 1993, only cosmetic issues are broken upper dash panel and console lid hinge.
I paid $3800 for it, which is a little more than I would have liked but seems to be a good deal for this area. I searched for some time and did not find another nice condition Camaro for cheaper.
I already have a set of LS1 brakes and some rear suspension parts ready for it (has some wheelhop and axle is shifted slightly towards drivers side). It will likely get Lloyd Elliot heads and cam in the spring. Cam will be kept small since it's mostly a fun street car, and I've always owned supercharged cars so I need good low end power to make me happy.
