Newbie with a 2000 C5
Hi all. I will make a long story short. Had a 98 V6 Firebird for a handful of years and it fell apart (put in about 5k in the last year)... couldnt afford a V8 at the time the bird was bought and ALWAYS wanted more power. Eventually plans for the bird were going to be engine swap (LS) or supercharge the V6- but since it turned into more of a headache, I decided to get rid of it... I now have my LS1! Bought a 2000 C5 with glass roof, all stock, with almost 20k original miles...
Another thing is, I never drove a manual before and was taught by my fiance... he gave me about 5 lessons and I was on my way. Now I am wondering how I ever went all those years with an automatic- manual is so much more fun!
Right now, the C5 is all stock and only has some aesthetic mods- window tint and LEDs in the vents... I probably wont do much more than intake and exhaust... we will see

Welcome to the board. Yeah manual is awesome but I for one have both, there are times when the manual pisses me off in traffic etc lol, that's when I go with the auto. I actually got rid of the other manual I had (Trans Am) and don't really miss it now that I have my hawk. There are pros and cons for each, but manual is fun for sure. X2 on the pics.
