LSXFTL.....bum bum bummmmmm Hello

I currently drive a 2006 Honda Accord V6 6 Speed and play around with an N/A 94 Accord. I joined to gain a little knowledge on the LS series engines seeing that my dad will soon be retiring and is in the hunt for a toy.
I'd love to be able to help steer him in the right direction to build a solid power plant for an older muscle car and from what I've seen the LS series is an affordable choice without sacrificing aftermarket support or power.
