New guy from Ohio/North Carolina... Hows everyone doing? Well i know this is the place to be for ls1 guys so i registered. I just purchased a 2001 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk #36 off the line. Only 70K miles and 6 speed. Fully loaded from the factory and SLP with the only add on being Meziere 55 gpm electric water pump. I've only had the car 3 weeks now and the pump needed replacing so go big or go home, right?!? I plan on doing the entire suspension (k-member, torque arm, front/rear arms, etc. all from UMI) i dont have any pictures of it now because im waiting to get a house down in NC. Im active army in the 82nd Airborne and just came back from Iraq so this was my prize. Ive owned a '94 Trans Am GT before and fell in love with F-Bodies but this Firehawk far surpasses the expectations i had in mind when purchasing it. Just figured i'd write a line and see how the community is...also looking for some deals on the formentioned suspension mods HAHAHA. Take care everyone and i will have pics posted shortly...
