V6 to v8 fuel pump

V6 to v8 fuel pump I recently wrecked my back half on 99 Z28. Body shop just cut back half of my car off and replaced it with another half from another camaro.. My question is, how do I know if the fuel pump is from a v6 camaro. What's the easiest way of finding out. Body shop said it was from another Z28 but I don't believe him..
