Hello All,

I've been reading and using info from this site for some time now so I decide it was about time to join! Looking forward to sharing information and learning from all you more experienced car guys!

My wife and I love convertibles, so when our first child came, we sold our turbocharged Miata and bought (quite by accident) a real gem of a z28. 1997, with 66k original miles. owned for the past 9 years by a friendly old man who wouldn't even take it out if it was foggy. the first owner had taken it to Hutter Performance Racing and had headers, exhaust, CA intake and 4.10 gear installed, and had it tuned. so it's got about as much power as one can get out of n LT1 without doing any major mods.

so, of course, now I'm researching major mods.

for this first year, I'm just working on cleaning it up. installed a new double din radio (made my own bezel) and am getting new wheels, replacing bearings etc.

love to see all the cool thing members have done!
Farewell.

Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards some Torq Thrust M 17". but I haven't completely made up my mind yet.

I will have some 18x9 boyd smoothie 3 coming up for sale soon. They are similar to tt. They are just polished so they would be ready to do an anthracite or black paint in centers if so desired

thanks for the offer. I want to stick with 17" rims, because I have access to a lot of cheap 17" tires. (50% used from a local dealership) but thanks for the suggestion.

Torq thrusts always look good. If you can find them, chrome ZR1's would look great on a black car.

Welcome aboard! If you're into car shows the Northeast Ohio Camaro Club has a pretty nice show every September at the Summit Racing building up by Talmadge. Google NEOCC for more info.
