Howdy from Virginia
Howdy Guys. My name is Derek, I'm from Southwest Virginia. Heartland of the Coal fields! I've lurked on this site before for years. Finally decided to register and join the community. I've been out of the performance game for around 4 years. Been without an lsx powered ride for a little more than 3. My former ride was a 2005 Torrid Red GTO M6. Made 426rwhp on a Dynojet and 393rwtq. I missed it so much I bought a new to me Goat a few months ago. 2005 Phantom Black Metallic M6 with 42k miles one owner all stock and perfect history for 14k out the door. Now the mod bug has hitten again and its time to upgrade. Im shooting for 500rwhp on stock cubes and bottom end Naturally aspirated. A bit radical for an LS2 but it can be done with enough $$$ thrown at it. To come with it will be an 11 second timeslip hopefully. Launching the pig is a challenge. I got friends in the fbody scene as well. A good friend is putting together a 408 T/A after he spun a rod bearing a few months ago, cant wait to see it in action! Attached are some pics after a quick wash a few days after a 600 mile trip home. Then the final one is the cars first heavy detail and wax job! Thanks for looking guys.
