Default Why is there a lack of sweater vests in here?

Hey Folks,

I just picked up a 2000 Trans Am for pretty cheap. Black, not a ws6 but don't really care, some of the prices I have seen WS6s at for what they have above a standard 6 speed TA are a bit silly. I was originally looking at a C5 but was surprised at how well they have held their value or just how awfully someone could maintain a corvette.

New to me car

It doesn't need much for me to be happy, coming from a history of luxury or compact cars.

Figured here was the best place to sign up at after a number of my past ws6 owning friends always talked about this forum.

The car will get a few things, Probably Konis and eibach pro kit, slp loudmouth II, on car adjustable panhard bar, intake (open for suggestions), better shifter (open for suggestions) and I think a set of CCW Classics for wheels which I need to do some research on because my wheel logic from the past does not apply here. No herrafrush Trans Ams.

Maybe a VFN The beast hood. Not really sure on that one.

previous dumpy whips

Skip the Eibachs (rear spring sag) and get a set of Strano springs instead.
For a shifter google MGW, best shifter on the market IMO.
Good to hear you're not going to "hellaflush" the Trans Am, Function>Form.
