Default new guy from WI ls1 ranger swapping

Hey my name is kam I'm 21 I'm just another gear head swappin a motor. I have an 88 ford ranger on a 2000 chassis djm 4" drop front suspension with a 9" rear swap and custom 4 link I made. I had a 347 sbf in it but couldn't make the power I want and there is no cheap way to fuel inject it and my bud was pulling the motor on his t.a. it as a 2002 ls1 out of a camaro ss it has a vrx5 cam with stock 241 heads, it had a ls6 intake but he kept it and Id rather not use the ls1 I got with it the camaro made 434rwhp when it was in there with some cheap pacesetter headers and a cheap single pipe cat back however when my buddy swapped it into his TA he used a set of kooks 1⅞ longtubes with a kooks 3" stainless true dual setup but never had it dynoed here is the link to my build before the LS

Welcome to the site! Sounds like an intensive build and that LS motor will definitely make more power.... Keep us in mind if you need any parts or any tech help. Just give us a shout at support@tickperformance.com or just give us a call here at the shop - 336.719.0599
