Default Hello from Joliet!!
I'm here because of a love for camaro/firebirds!!! I'm looking right now at V8 Camaro's and Trans Ams. My first real question is if there is a real performance advantage to going with the SS/WS-6 models over the standard Z/28 and Trans Am?

Welcome. To answer your already answered question, no not a major advantage other than a few minor options and possible resale value.
