Default New LS2 CTS-V Owner from Michigan

Hello,
Just purchased my 2006 CTS-V...extremely clean...100k on the odometer.
Already has:
Kooks 1 3/4 Longtubes, high flow cats, stock resonator, muffler delete....SOUNDS AMAZING!!!!!
Creative Steel diff, trans, and motor mounts.
UUC Short shifter (have to install it)
LS7 clutch/flywheel

Performance Plans:

CAM (im new to ls world, what do you recommend?), i have looked into the VRX5 236/238 0.601/0.605 113+2, i want something that cangive me the power without having to get it tuned immediately after install. Basically, give me time to drive it a few months before i can send it to get dyno tuned.

PUSHRODS, what size? what company?

INTAKE....K&N? LPE? what other options? I currently have just the drop in K&N filter.

GForce Axle.

I have a buddy who works for Livernois and they are definitely a great shop, but I've heard great things about Bakers as well. Who will be tuning the new setup?

I do have not yet decided on tuner.
I am still deciding on the cam....i am leaning towards a TSP Torquer V2, hardened pushrods 7.400" stock length, and maybe valve springs 0.650" lift (if absolutely necessary). I was wondering if i could drive the car with these components installed and not tuned until later down the road when funds are available again.
I am definately get the gforce driver side rear axle to alleviate the wheel hop.

Hello, congrats on the new ride.
I would not recommend driving the car without the proper tune in it.
With the miles you have on the car to ensure longevity, durability and reliability there are some components you are going to want to attack while you are changing the camshaft.
You want to look at these things as a positive to ensure a good experience.
I would recommend getting all of the parts together and making sure you have the dyno time booked for the tuning.
With 100k on the engine I would be looking at having the heads inspected and at least refreshed while off(seals and lapping along with the spring change) verifying the guides are in spec
This is a fantastic time to CNC the heads as we offer this service at an excellent price point especially since you need someone to look/work on the heads anyhow. (highly recommended)

additional parts suggested
oil pump
timing set
camshaft
lifters
pushrods
new gm rockers
one of our rocker bases
spark plugs
new ignition wires
spring lock retainer seal I.D. locator package

if the heads come off add
head gaskets
arp head bolts or studs

give us a call or shoot us a pm
